Heaven Is Here
I searched the skies for gates of pearl,
imagined distant realms of light,
but Heaven whispered softly:
I am closer than breath.
Heaven is not a place to reach,
but a realm to remember —
the quiet joy in morning light,
the peace rising unbidden in stillness.
It is the love that softens eyes,
the grace that forgives without reason,
the union felt when all fear dissolves
and only the heart’s true song remains.
Heaven is here, unfolding
in every now,
in every soul daring to see
the face of God
in themselves,
in each other,
in all.
