The Place Where I End

I searched for God in distant skies,
in words of men,
in temples built by hands—
but found only echoes of my own longing.

Then the flame led me to the place
where I end
and He begins—
the silent threshold where surrender
becomes union.

Here, I laid down every name I wore,
every crown I claimed,
every fear I carried.

Here, I was neither lost nor found—
I simply remembered
I was never apart.

In the place where I end,
love is all that remains.
