The Sacred Unfolding

There is a timing to all things,
a sacred unfolding hidden in each breath —
like petals waiting for dawn
to open their softest light.

I once pushed, hurried, demanded
the flower bloom on my schedule,
but life taught me
that grace moves in spirals,
not straight lines.

Now I sit in stillness,
trusting the warmth of Presence
to open what must open,
to release what must fall,
to reveal what was always waiting
in the quiet center of the heart.
