The Veil Falls

I once searched stars for a distant God,
measured myself by shifting moons,
and feared the silence
that spoke too honestly.

Then the veil fell,
not by force but by love,
and I saw no space between
my breath and His voice.

Now I walk the world
as a living temple,
eyes open to the miracle
in every face,
knowing the Beloved
wears all forms.
