Unoffended Ones

Why the pure in heart inherit sight

Offense is too heavy for those who fly.
Bitterness poisons the eyes
until they no longer recognize the Lamb.

The unoffended ones have burned every seed of resentment
on the altar of union.
They will not trade discernment for suspicion.
They do not let wounds become weapons.
They carry sight
clean as new creation.

They guard their hearts
because the pure see God.
And those who see God
begin to see everything like He does.

Forgiveness is not weakness.
It is strategy.
It keeps the flame clear.
It keeps the eyes open.
It keeps the elect unstoppable.

Gravity cannot hold those who have let go
of the stones they were tempted to throw.

These are the ones
who will see the King.
