THE POOL OF SILOAM

THE INNER RIVER THAT RESTORES SIGHT

📖 “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.John 9:7

1. SENT WATER - THE FLOW OF DIVINE INITIATION

The very name Siloam means “Sent.” It speaks of water that moves, water in motion, not stagnant cisterns. Spiritually, this is the flow of divine intention, the movement of grace sent forth from the throne into the soul. Every elect must encounter this pool within: the moment when heaven’s river touches human dust and life begins to move again.

To be “sent to the pool” is to be summoned into cleansing obedience, the place where revelation meets response. The man born blind was told, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam.” His healing was not in the water alone but in the obedience to go where he was sent. Many know truth but never move into it; the pool becomes living only when you step into what you have heard.

🌊 2. THE WATERS OF REVELATION - SEEING THROUGH WASHING

The pool represents illumination through cleansing. Sight was restored not through effort but through washing away the clay of the old man. Clay, symbol of Adam, had to meet living water, the dust of the natural must be washed by the Spirit of the eternal.

In spiritual life, the Pool of Siloam is the place where the eyes of understanding are opened. You do not gain sight by analysis but by immersion. Revelation is always birthed in washing. Every false image, every dusty idea of God, dissolves until only Light Himself remains. The waters of Siloam are not for refreshment but for rebirth.

🔥 3. INNER HUMILITY - THE DESCENT BEFORE ASCENT

The pool was at the lowest part of the city, reached by a descent through narrow stone channels. The elect must go down before they can see up. This is the pattern of all true vision, sight is born in humility. To reach Siloam is to descend into simplicity, to leave the noise of religion’s surface and meet the quiet stream of grace that flows beneath.

Many avoid the descent because it strips the soul of grandeur. Yet the pool’s miracle happens only to the humble — those who have been ground low enough to receive water. When you bow low, heaven rushes in.

4. HEALING AS AWAKENING

The blind man’s physical sight was only a sign of a deeper truth: that he began to perceive the Son of God. The pool is the gate where healing and revelation become one act. To wash is to awaken; to awaken is to see Christ everywhere.

Every believer must have their Siloam moment, where they realize that healing is not escape from weakness but entrance into divine awareness. Once you see, you cannot unsee. The light that touches the eyes will flood the soul.

🌈 5. THE INNER POOL - THE WELL WITHIN THE ELECT

In the language of the Flame, the Pool of Siloam symbolizes the inner chamber of renewal. Within every son of light lies a hidden spring where Spirit continually sends living water. When you turn inward in stillness and surrender, you touch this pool. From it flows understanding, compassion, and divine sight.

To live from this place is to live sent , to move as water moves, to carry cleansing where you go. You become the pool others wash in, not by preaching, but by existing in transparency. The Lamb sends you as He sent the waters, not to argue, but to heal sight.

FINAL CONTEMPLATION

The Pool of Siloam is not a relic of history, but a blueprint of awakening.
It whispers: “Go, wash in what I’ve sent you into. Let go of what you thought you knew. Let humility guide you down. Let light rise from within.”

When you descend into that inner pool, the eyes of your heart open, and you realize, the One who sent the water now flows through you.
