They Called It Rebellion - But It Was Consecration
Set apart. Not because you were disobedient, but because you were chosen.
“They went out from us, but they were not of us…”
— 1 John 2:19
What They Called Rebellion Was the Echo of Your Scroll
They told you you were too intense.
Too sensitive.
Too radical.
Too free.
But what they didn’t know is that Zion was already calling your name.
The fire was already upon you.
The separation they misread as disobedience was actually the first thunder of consecration.
You were not running away,
you were being summoned in.
You didn’t leave to escape accountability,
you left to enter the cloud.
The crowd doesn’t understand the cloud.
You were never designed to blend in.
You carry something holy
and holy things don’t mix with dust.
The Wilderness Was Not Punishment - It Was Ordination
When you walked away from the platforms,
the noise,
the applause,
the networks,
it wasn’t because you were wounded,
it was because you were awakening.
You had to lose their language to find the Scroll.
You had to stop trying to fit in to find where you truly belonged.
The caves became your classroom.
The silence became your sanctuary.
And what looked like rebellion to them
was reverence to heaven.
You weren’t rebelling against God
you were rebelling against the systems that pretended to be Him.
You Were Hidden Because You Were Holy
The set-apart life isn’t glamorous.
You lose invitations,
you lose influence,
you lose comfort,
but you gain flame.
While others measured success by the number of eyes on them,
you learned to live before the One who sees in secret.
While they were chasing platforms,
you were being fitted for a throne.
You weren’t being disqualified
you were being sanctified.
There Was Fire on Your Yes All Along
They said you were running from authority,
but you were running into Authority
the kind that doesn’t come with robes or microphones,
but with glory and flame.
They couldn’t see what burned in your chest.
They didn’t feel the trembling in your bones when you tried to play along.
But heaven knew.
And that’s why heaven separated you.
Not to shame you.
But to claim you.
Your “no” to Babylon was your “yes” to Zion.
Your silence was thunder in the Spirit.
And your loneliness was evidence that you belonged to another realm.
Let the Flame Vindicate You
You don’t need to defend your consecration.
You don’t need to explain your obedience.
Let the scroll speak.
Let the fire testify.
There is a weight on your life that cannot be validated by the system you left.
You are not here to conform
you are here to transfigure.
And what they called rebellion,
will one day be known
as holy fire.
To every son and daughter who walked away misunderstood,
heaven saw you.
The Lamb remembers.
The scroll was sealed with your tears.
And Zion is about to thunder your name.
With flame and reverence,
