The Age of Tabernacles - God Dwelling in Man Without Veil

“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them.” — Revelation 21:3
“In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.” — John 14:20

The Feast of Tabernacles was the final and most joyous of Israel’s appointed feasts, a celebration of dwelling in the presence of God. Yet it was always pointing toward a greater fulfillment, the day when God would dwell fully in His people without veil, without distance, and without interruption. We are now approaching that age, where the mystery of union is no longer a doctrine to discuss but a reality to live.

From Shadows to Substance

The tabernacle of Moses, the temple of Solomon, the feasts, and all the priestly rituals were shadows of the greater reality to come. In each, God gave a glimpse of His desire to dwell among His people. But the separation remained, a veil, an outer court, an inner court, and finally the Holy of Holies that only one man could enter once a year.

In Christ, these shadows were fulfilled and dismantled. The veil was torn from top to bottom, not so that man could rush into a building, but so that God could fill His true dwelling, the human heart. The Age of Tabernacles is not about visiting God in a sacred place; it is about becoming the sacred place in which He lives.

We are moving from celebrating His nearness to living in His indwelling. The shadow has given way to the substance, God in us, not as a guest, but as His permanent home.

The Indwelling Glory

“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” — 1 Corinthians 3:16

The glory that once rested between the cherubim now abides in the sons and daughters of God. This is not a diluted version of His presence; it is the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwelling in mortal bodies. In the Age of Tabernacles, this reality will be unveiled in fullness, until the line between heaven and earth disappears in the lives of the elect.

This indwelling is not a visitation; it is a habitation. God is not interested in weekend visits during worship gatherings, He is fashioning eternal tabernacles of flesh and spirit. The elect are those who live every breath in awareness of this union, carrying the Holy of Holies into marketplaces, streets, and nations.

When this glory matures, it transforms not only the one who carries it but the environment around them. Regions will change because a son or daughter has taken root there. The tabernacle moves, and wherever it rests, the Kingdom appears.

Living Without Veil

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image.” — 2 Corinthians 3:18

Living without veil means nothing stands between God and His people, no separation, no divided loyalties, no hidden compartments in the heart. It means the soul is transparent to heaven, a vessel through which the radiance of the Lamb flows unhindered.

The veil is removed when self-rule dies, when every corner of the heart is yielded to His reign. In the Age of Tabernacles, the elect will embody this yieldedness to such a degree that God’s glory will be visible upon them, as tangibly as it rested upon Moses’ face. But unlike Moses, they will not veil it, for the age of hiding is over.

Without veil, the sons of God will walk the earth as walking tabernacles, and the nations will come to the brightness of their rising.

The Eternal Dwelling of God in Man

The Age of Tabernacles is not the end of the story, it is the eternal state of the Kingdom. When John saw the New Jerusalem descending, he saw more than a city; he saw a people filled with God, the Bride prepared for the Lamb. The voice from the throne declared that this was the fulfillment: God with His people, and His people fully one with Him.

This union is the heart of the gospel. It is the restoration of Eden, but on a higher plane, no longer a garden where God visits, but a people in whom He lives forever.

In this age, the distinction between “spiritual” and “natural” life will dissolve. Every act will be an act of worship, every word a word from the throne, every breath a shared breath with the Spirit.

The Age of Tabernacles is dawning, beloved. It is the age where the veil is gone, the dwelling is eternal, and the sons of God carry heaven on earth. You are not waiting for a tent in the wilderness or a temple of stone, you are the temple. And the God who fills all in all has chosen to fill you.
