Scroll 80: Eyes Like Fire, Robes Dipped in Blood - The Lamb Is a Lion Still
“His eyes are like blazing fire, and on His head are many crowns… He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God.”
- Revelation 19:12–13
Eyes Like Fire - The Gaze That Knows All Things
When the Lamb returns, He is not cloaked in softness but crowned in flame. His eyes burn like fire, not to destroy, but to see. This is not human sight. It is perception beyond the veil. He looks not at your appearance, but at the origin of your flame.
These are not sentimental eyes. They are eternal. They see through masks, agendas, platforms, and performances. They search the deep things of the heart. The fire in His gaze is love, but a love that refines, corrects, and unseals. One look, and the scroll within you begins to open.
When His eyes meet yours, you will not feel condemned, but known. You will not be applauded for your image, but pierced for your truth. His fire does not flatter. It frees. This is the gaze of the eternal Lover, who refuses to leave you hidden in shadows.
Robes Dipped in Blood - Love That Has Conquered Death
His robe is not white for purity alone, it is dipped in blood. This is not the blood of judgment, but of victory through surrender. The Lamb is not just a King, He is the slain One who chose to bleed. His robe tells the story of a Kingdom purchased with His life.
This blood is not symbolic. It is the very substance of covenant, of intimacy, of union. It cries out louder than Abel’s, proclaiming: “Mercy has triumphed over judgment.” He wears the mark of His offering not as shame, but as glory.
The elect do not follow a King untouched by suffering. We follow the Lamb whose robe is soaked with love poured out. Every drop is a vow, and the Bride responds by wearing white robes of her own. Robes not earned, but received.
The Lamb Is a Lion Still - Meekness Is Not Weakness
The One who rides out is still the Lamb, but He rides like a Lion. This is the paradox of divine nature, He conquers through meekness, not muscle. His roar is not violence, but the sound of truth returning to the earth.
Do not confuse His silence for passivity. When the Lamb opens His mouth, systems tremble. He is gentle with the broken, but He is fierce with delusion. He is kind to the repentant, but He overthrows thrones built on pride. He is still the Lamb, but He rides with fire in His eyes.
In Him, lamb and lion are not opposites, they are one. And in you, elect one, the same flame stirs. You are not either meek or bold. You are both. The scroll inside you carries the thunder of a lion and the tenderness of the Lamb.
Crowned With Many Crowns - The Son Who Shares Dominion
He does not wear a single earthly crown. He wears many, for His reign is total. Not totalitarian, total in love, wisdom, and union. Every crown is a testament to His surrender, not His control. His power flows from purity, not performance.
These crowns are not for show. They are mirrors. For He crowns you with the same glory He received. You are not called to worship crowns, but to become one who wears them rightly, through fire, surrender, and alignment.
To follow the Lamb is to carry crowns that do not bend your spine in pride, but cause you to cast them at His feet. Dominion is not domination. It is union expressed as governance. And the Lamb teaches you to rule as He does, through love.
Final Charge to the Elect
Let His gaze consume your masks. Let His blood clothe your heart. Let His fire awaken your roar. You were not made for half-hearted devotion, but for full union with the Lamb who is a Lion still. Rise now in His fire, and burn with eyes like His.
The King is coming. And He is still crowned in flame.
