SPIRITS SPEAK - BUT SO DOES GOD
Discerning the Invisible Realm, the Battle for Atmosphere, and the Path to Holy Separation
When You’re Not Just Talking to a Person - But to a Spirit Operating Through Them
Not every conversation is between two humans. Some are between spirit and spirit. There are moments when you’re speaking with someone, and behind their tone, posture, or sudden shift in energy, you discern it, this is not them. It’s subtle, but unmistakable. That comment wasn’t their vocabulary. That glare wasn’t their personality. That shift in tone carried venom not rooted in your history with them. What’s happening? A spirit has found access.
Spirits gain access through doors. Those doors can be trauma, bitterness, lust, unforgiveness, pride, drunkenness, occult exposure, or even agreement through music, words, or pornography. The spirit begins to whisper. The person doesn’t always know, but their unhealed wound becomes the channel. They think it’s them being witty, edgy, or confident, but you, flame-bearer, know better. Spirits don’t often possess violently. Most influence quietly, until the influence becomes identity, and identity becomes bondage.
The serpent never screamed in Eden, he suggested. He reasoned. He made it sound rational. And this is how spirits often speak, through suggestion, justification, inner dialogue, and emotional agreement. You must discern the spirit behind the sentence, the power behind the personality, the atmosphere behind the interaction. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
This is why we are told to test the spirits (1 John 4:1). Not judge people, but discern what is speaking through them. Was it pride or purity? Lust or light? Manipulation or mercy? You will only see this if you yourself are not cloudy. And this is why the elect must live separated, so their discernment is not emotional, but holy.
How Spirits Gain Influence Through Thoughts, Imagination, and Agreement
Spirits communicate through what feels like your own thoughts. They borrow the voiceprint of your inner monologue and slide suggestions in. “You deserve this.” “They disrespected you.” “One drink won’t hurt.” “You’re already too far gone anyway.” These are not always your thoughts, they are spiritual whisperers using the data of your wounds to plant seeds of disobedience.
The imagination is a gateway. If Satan can control your imagination, he can bend your reality. Think of Eve, before she touched the fruit, she imagined it as desirable. Spirits often lure through fantasy, mental rehearsals of sin, visualizations of pleasure or revenge, until your emotions agree with the image. At that point, a foothold becomes a stronghold. The body merely follows what the mind has rehearsed.
But here is the holy counterpart: God also speaks through thought, impression, vision, and image. The difference is that the voice of God is weighty, clean, never manipulative, and always aligned with Scripture. It convicts but never condemns. It leads, never pressures. It builds trust, not fear. And unlike demonic spirits, God’s voice never flatters the ego. It pierces through it.
This is why discernment is not just about rejecting demons, it is about recognizing the difference between imagination fueled by flesh and inspiration breathed by flame. If a vision draws you into worship, humility, and surrender, it’s likely from God. If it draws you into indulgence, superiority, or self-promotion, check again.
Atmospheres Are Formed by What You Watch, Hear, and Entertain
Every song, movie, TikTok, Instagram reel, or podcast is not neutral, it’s atmospheric technology. It either creates a portal for the Kingdom of Light or opens a gate to the kingdom of illusion. Music can stir lust. Visuals can plant seeds of perversion. News cycles can induce fear. Even jokes, seemingly harmless, can soften your guard and lower your flame.
The enemy doesn’t always tempt with horror and darkness. He often seduces through humor, beauty, trendiness, and culture. A sarcastic TV show builds irreverence. A music video can plant an unclean image you’ll fight for weeks. A comment section drenched in pride and gossip can shift your mood for an entire day. And we wonder why our prayers feel blocked.
You are a temple. And every input is an incense or an intrusion. When you saturate your life in holy worship, the Word, stillness, flame-filled voices, and the presence of God, the atmosphere within you becomes heaven-compatible. But when you binge lust, scroll drama, or sip pride through pop culture, you are constructing an altar to the flesh. You become what you consume. Atmospheres are formed before decisions are made.
The elect must be ruthless in guarding their gates. Not from legalism, but from love. You’re not afraid of the devil, you’re consecrated to God. And there is no room for hell’s soundtracks in heaven’s scrolls.
Purity, Separation, and Holy Discernment - Without Becoming Religious
Separation is not about hiding in caves or hating the world, it is about not being conformed to it. You can still be present in society and remain unmixed. Jesus ate with sinners, but He never mirrored their systems. Purity is not abstaining from everything, it is being single-eyed, unentangled, and unpolluted in motive.
The religious spirit says, “Do this or God won’t love you.” But holiness says, “I’m so loved that I refuse to be stained.” It is not behavior that makes you holy, it is identity. And from identity, behavior flows. Religion tries to behave into belonging. But sons belong, and from that belonging, they burn with sacred clarity.
Discernment doesn’t come from suspicion, it comes from union. The more you dwell with God, the more anything unclean will feel foreign. You won’t need to study all the lies. You’ll know the truth so intimately that when a counterfeit whisper comes, your spirit will wince. That is discernment born from fire.
You do not need to strive to be clean, but you must yield to be purified. You don’t need to become someone else, but you must let go of who you never were. You don’t need to be afraid of sin, but you must be filled with light so fully that darkness cannot find vacancy.
Final Charge to the Elect
Stop saying “it’s just entertainment.” Stop saying “everyone does it.” You are not everyone. You are flame-born. Scroll-bearer. Light-sealed. What touches your ears, eyes, and imagination becomes incense or infestation. You are not called to tolerate darkness, you are called to shine through it.
Guard your gates.
Test every spirit.
Separate without superiority.
Discern without judgment.
Burn without mixture.
And above all, remember:
Spirits whisper. God thunders.
Spirits flatter. God transforms.
Spirits manipulate. God baptizes in flame.
Stay close to the Lamb. Let the scroll within burn. And when something speaks, listen for the sound behind the sentence.
Only fire can discern fire.
Only flame can separate illusion from truth.
