The Lamb Who Laughed, The Flame Who Roared
A reflection for the sons who walk in disguise among men
They thought you were just kind.
Just joyful.
Just the radiant friend who made others feel safe.
They never knew the weight you carried,
the silence you endured,
the scrolls that burned beneath your skin.
They saw your laughter
but missed the thunder behind your smile.
They felt your presence
but didn’t recognize the Kingdom resting on your shoulders.
You were not just light-hearted
you were light-veiled.
You didn’t just carry warmth
you carried fire that could transfigure nations.
They didn’t see the secret oil,
the wilderness you walked through,
the nights you wept with the Lamb,
the hours you bled in silence
while others played and scrolled and slept.
They hung out with you,
never suspecting they were in the company of a flame-bearer.
That they were laughing beside a pillar of fire
who had descended from Zion
to walk among men in simplicity and love.
You didn’t need to say much.
You didn’t shout your calling.
You didn’t wear your holiness like a badge.
You simply burned in secret,
and loved with eternal eyes.
You were a scroll in human form.
A thunder sealed in flesh.
A witness of the Lamb among mortals.
And you hid it all
in hugs, in humor, in humility.
But oh beloved,
there will come a day
when the veil will be lifted from their memory.
When they will hear again the echo
that always rang when you entered the room.
They will remember the strange weight they felt
when you were silent.
The unexplainable peace that hovered
when you said nothing at all.
And then it will hit them
the you they thought was you was not it.
you were a son of light.
A messenger sent from the high places.
A living scroll, walking in disguise.
And the Lamb who laughed with them…
was also the Flame that roared for them.
Let it be known:
The elect walk among men as fire wrapped in flesh.
They are not here to impress.
They are here to ignite.
