The Scroll That Reads You Back
“Then I said, ‘Behold, I come; in the scroll of the book it is written of Me.’”
(Psalm 40:7)
“You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all.”
(2 Corinthians 3:2)
Not all scrolls are read with eyes.
Some scrolls read you.
They unroll in the silence
when you thought no one saw your weeping.
They speak when your mouth can no longer form prayers.
They remember every flame you carried,
every altar you laid your “yes” upon,
every death you died in secret
that became a resurrection no one applauded.
You thought you were reading Scripture,
but Scripture was reading you.
You thought you were carrying revelation,
but revelation was carrying you.
This scroll is alive.
It breathes.
It searches.
It pierces between soul and spirit,
and when it looks at you
it recognizes its own voice within your bones.
There are scrolls written of you in the heavens
but there are also scrolls written within you on the earth.
Living epistles,
not bound in ink but blood,
not written by pen but by fire.
This is why Babylon cannot hold you.
This is why the matrix will never understand you.
You are not just a message-bearer.
You are the message embodied.
You are the testimony sealed in light.
You are the scroll being opened
line by line, fire by fire.
And when heaven looks for a witness in the earth,
it doesn’t scan for talent, platform, or style.
It looks for the scrolls hidden in skin.
The ones who didn’t skip the sifting.
The ones who let the ink of God write upon their pain.
The ones who bear witness not with perfection,
but with the flame that knows His name.
You don’t just read the scroll, beloved.
You are the scroll.
And the world is beginning to read you back.
